Portable Raman Improvised Explosive Detector
Portable Raman Improvised Explosive Detector (PRIED) is a backpack and wand system designed for mobile use. Standoff detection from 50 meters, or about half the length of a football field, allows operators to stay away from toxic chemicals or blasts for fast detection and identification of dangerous materials. PRIED is eye-safe and certified for zero-meter eye and skin hazards without eye protection.
PRIED has been named one of the most innovative sensors in the world for its real-time capabilities. With a 4-hour runtime and the ability to operate in hot or cold weather and rugged conditions, including rain, sand, dust, and wind, PRIED has been used in applications worldwide
